6th Annual Harvestfest, Port Colborne – October 1, 2016
Join us in Downtown Port Colborne as we celebrate our 6th Annual HarvestFest, October 1st 10am-2pm! Great fun for families, great fun for EVERYONE! Clarence Street will be closed to vehicles and filled with live entertainment, vendors, crafters, activities, hay rides and more!
Lots of new things to enjoy this year, including Niagara Inflatables and a pie baking contest!

 

6th Annual Fall Fair at the Fort Erie Conservation Club, Stevensville – October 1, 2016
The Fort Erie Conservation Club Fall Fair takes place October 1st from 10am til 3pm with crafters, antique cars, silent auction, penny raffle, garage sale, Fall market, bake sale, face painting, fishing booth,  kiddie train rides, paint your own bird house and more!
Fort Erie Conservation Club is located at 2555 Ott Rd., Stevensville.

 

Pioneer Day, Jordan – October 1, 2016
Pioneer Days, held on the grounds of The Jordan Historical Museum, will include heritage arts and craft demonstrations, traditional Mennonite foods, children’s activities, and much more!
$15.00/family, $5.00/Adults, $4.00/Seniors & Children until 10 years
** Free Parking and shuttle bus to and from the Jordan Arena**
Directions:
Exit the QEW at Jordan Road (Exit 55). Continue south, passing through Jordan Station, until you reach 4th Avenue, turn right. Continue on 4th Avenue, until you reach a T-stop, (this is 19th Street). Turn left on to 19th Street. Then turn right on the first street, Wismer Street.  This street becomes Main Street, Jordan.

Ridgeway Fall Festival, Ridgeway – October 1, 2016
The Ridgeway Fall Festival takes place October 1st. Kick off the festival at the Ridgeway Farmers Market with live entertainment, local artisans, fresh local produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses and more. Then, delight in the sounds and smells of an open air festival on Ridge Road from 8am to 3pm. Live music, free wagon rides, great food and free entertainment for the whole family! Admission is Free.

 

 Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival, Jordan – October 7th – 10th, 2016
The Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival Craft Show and Sale runs over Thanksgiving Weekend (Friday – Monday) and features over 140 vendors. It is a great event that has not just crafts to offer, but also features food, live entertainment, birds of prey, pony rides, children’s activities and heritage activities. Vendors include everyone from photographers and local artists to woodworkers and artisans, and products include everything from homemade bath supplies and candles, decorations, homemade jams and jellies, clothing, and any other knick knacks you can think of. The atmosphere is colourful and fun, and it’s always bustling with people going from tent to tent.
It’s a great destination for a nice fall trip out with the family!

Boo at the Zoo, Stevensville – October 8th – 9th, 2016
Due to last years overwhelming attendance at Boo at the Zoo, Safari Niagara has extended the event to TWO days this year:
Saturday, October 8, 2016 – 10:00AM – 4:00PM
Sunday, October 9, 2016 – 10:00AM – 4:00PM
Trick or treat your way around Safari Niagara brought to you by local businesses. This is a safe and unique Halloween party you do not want to miss!
Event Details:
• Children 12 & under dressed in a costume receive FREE admission
• Adults 13 & over receive special admission rate of $15.00 + HST
• Season Pass holders receive FREE admission and special fast-lane entry
• Costume contests!
• A donation of a non-perishable food item is appreciated! Donation proceeds from Saturday will go towards Fort Erie COPE and donation proceeds from Sunday will go towards Fort Erie Salvation Army.

A free family event held at Happy Rolph’s Bird Sanctuary. The day includes professional children’s games, bouncers, face painting, costume characters, pumpkin carving and scarecrow building contests.
