Halloween Ghost Tours at Fort George

Some believe that Halloween is the time of year when supernatural forces are most powerful, and the barrier between this world and the next is at its weakest. For others, it’s just the perfect time of year for a good ghost story.  Join us for an exploration of the scariest aspects of haunted Fort George. This 2-hour walking tour includes stories too frightening to be told on the summer tours, and opens a building (the Officers’ Quarters) usually off limits to the Ghost Tour.

All tickets: $20.00

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Please call the Friends of Fort George Gift Shop at 905-468-6621 to order.

Drummond Hill Cemetery Tours

Drummond Hill Cemetery is a nationally recognized heritage site. It is most famously known as the battle grounds of the “Battle of Lundy’s Lane”, as well as the burial site of Laura Secord. Every weekend during the month of October the Lundy’s Lane Museum conducts tours of Drummond Hill Cemetery. Led by a costumed guide, the human drama unfolds as you wander the grounds and happen upon theatrical performances that provide a glimpse into the lives of some of the famous and not so famous people from the history of the city. The vignettes are based on real people who are buried in the cemetery. Some content may not be suitable for younger audiences.
