Looking for something for the kids to do on the next PA Day? We’ve got a list of some local places offering PA Day Camps in Niagara as well as other activities for Friday, January 18, 2019.

 

PA Day Art Camp

1812 Sir Isaac Brock Way, St. Catharines
9 am to 4 pm

Enjoy your day off at Rodman Hall Art Centre experiencing the exhibitions and making your own unique creations. With a focus on creativity and skill-building, students will have the opportunity to experiment with paint, drawing materials, mixed media, printmaking and sculpture. Ages 5-10.
$50, Member $45

 

Children’s Program: P.D. Day Drop In Fun

Niagara Falls Community Centre Library, Victoria Avenue Library, Stamford Centre Library
10:30am-12:30pm

All Ages
It’s your day off from school—live it up, library-style! Drop in for board games, Lego, crafts and more. You could even grab a few books to get you through the long weekend. Children age 7 and under must have a parent or guardian remain in the library during the program. No registration required.

 

Children’s Program: Fun Film – Show Dogs

Niagara Falls Victoria Avenue Library
1pm-2:30pm

Cast: Alan Cumming, Stanley Tucci, Natasha Lyonne, Will Arnett. Max, a macho, solitary Rottweiler police dog is ordered to go undercover as a primped show dog in a prestigious Dog Show, along with his human partner, to avert a disaster from happening. Rated G. 92 mins.

 

 

No School, Get in the Pool!

St. Catharines Kiwanis Pool, 425 Carlton St., St. Catharines
Leisure Pool: 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

 

PA Days at Nature School and Education Centre

9:00 AM to 4:00 PM – Extended care available

Spending time in Nature is not only fun – studies show that children benefit physically, emotionally, socially, cognitively, and spiritually (feeling connected). Nature benefits too, because these same children grow up to be adults who care about the environment.

P.A. Day NOTL Public Library

10 Anderson Lane, NOTL
10am-1pm

When you’re not in school, the library’s the place to be! It’s a maker space extravaganza that will take over the whole library. All ages welcome.

 

Niagara Conservatory of Music

22 Court Street, St. Catharines
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Enjoy instrument exploration, karaoke, music themed crafts and games. $50/day.

 

Club Jump PA Day Camp

Club Jump, 50 Niagara Street, St.Catharines
9:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-12:00pm

Throughout the school year, Club Jump offers P.A. Day Camps. They offer half day and full day options. Camps will consist of a variety of physical activities such as fitness, gymnastics, dance, yoga, games, free play and talent shows. There will also be arts and crafts and some quiet time.

Please remember they are a nut free facility so all snacks and lunches need to be nut free. Fridays are pizza days so only snacks need to be provided. Please make sure each camper has a water bottle with them.

Half day camp is $30+HST and full day is $45+HST. Half day program runs 9-12 and full day is 9-4.
