Niagara is entering Stage 2 on Friday, June 19th.
All of Ontarians are now allowed to gather in groups of up to 10 people.
The government is also allowing places of worship to welcome congregants again with a 30 per cent capacity limit.
During Stage 2, the following businesses and services are allowed to reopen:
- Hair salons, barber shops, estheticians, nail salons, hair removal services, spas, tanning salons, piercing and tattoo parlours.
- Personal services, such as house sitting, wedding planning and consulting services, personal fitness trainers.
- Restaurants & bars, food trucks and other food and drink establishments (e.g., wineries, breweries and distilleries) can open for dining in outdoor areas only, such as patios, curbside, parking lots and adjacent premises.
- Shopping malls & centres
- Photography studios and services
- All indoor and outdoor swimming pools, outdoor splash pads and wading pools.
- Outdoor recreational facilities, such as paintball, mini-golf, archery ranges, go-cart tracks and other adventure activities.
- Beaches, Ontario parks & camping
- Outdoor recreational team sports
- Drive-ins
- Weddings, funerals and similar gatherings up to 10 people
- Libraries and community centres
- Museums, galleries, aquariums, zoos outdoor heritage institutions (e.g., landmarks, outdoor historic sites, botanical gardens).
