On Monday, Baby, Me & a Cup of Tea continues at the Bunting Early Years site. Moms with pre-crawling infants are welcome to drop-in from 1pm-3:30pm to socialize with other parents.
On Tuesday, the Walker YMCA Early Years site will be making book bags for children aged two and older. Parents/caregivers will take home some valuable resources on early literacy development and information on local library programs.
On Thursday, children one year and older can make tie-dyed easter eggs at the Bunting Early Years site from 10:45-11:45. Plan to get messy!
On Saturday, there is an engineering program at the Thorold Public Library from 2pm-3pm. Build a spiderweb, a catapult and launch a paper plane, then test your invention in a competition.
On Sunday, Niagara College presents Once Upon A Fairytale, where families will be able to transport themselves into an enchanted land while experiencing mythical activities, royal takeaways, and indulging in festive refreshments!
Also on Sunday, there is a public performance at the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre, Brock University as part of the Wee Ones Wiggle Series. Put on by Carousel Players, Peg and the Yeti, starts at 2:30pm and will be fun for all ages.
The Pen Centre is offering Autism Ontario families a chance for children to come and have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny on Sunday between 10am-11am.
