    Canada Day Celebrations in Niagara

    Published: Jun 14, 2020 · Modified: Apr 24, 2022 by Niagara Families · Leave a Comment

Canada Day will look a little different this year. No big crowds of people gathering in to celebrate Canada's birthday. Instead, there will be virtual fireworks and online celebrations.

Here is our list of Canada Day celebrations in Niagara:

    Niagara Falls Canada Day Celebrations

Canada Day – Wednesday, July 1

Celebrate virtually with musical performances, magic, artists, and fireworks.

    • Time: Tune in at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
    • Where: Here (city of Niagara Falls website), on Facebook, or on YourTV (Ch. 10 & 700)
    • Please contact Lori Albanese for more information.

    Niagara-on-the-Lake Canada Day Celebrations

Canada Day festivities from previous years will be on Friends of Fort George social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), with some special content to be shared on Canada Day.

Friends of Fort George are selling packages designed to help families celebrate together, safely, at home. The packages will include six cupcakes, flags, pins, Canada Day tattoos, glow sticks, Parks Canada swag, balloons and more.  These packages can be ordered online through their gift shop at https://friendsoffortgeorge.square.site or by calling the gift store at 905-468-6621. The cost is $35 per package with free delivery in NOTL, and $40 per package with delivery outside of NOTL.

The Friends have also created #CanadaDayNOTL, and hope community members will use it to share images of how they are celebrating Canada Day this year.
