Santa Claus Parades in Niagara

Take the family to a local parade to kick off the holiday season! Here is our list of Santa Claus parades in Niagara:

 

NIAGARA FALLS Santa Claus Parade 

Saturday November 17, 2018 @ 11 am
The Parade Route begins at 11:00 am on Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street, and travels north along Victoria Avenue, turning right onto Valley Way, right onto Queen Street and ending at Niagara Falls City Hall.

The Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade will feature fabulous bands, colourful floats, mascots, entertainers, and of course, our Grand Finale – Santa Claus himself! The Parade begins at 11:00 am sharp on Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street, and travels north along Victoria Avenue, turning right onto Valley Way, right onto Queen Street and ending at Niagara Falls City Hall.

FORT ERIE Santa Claus Parade

Saturday November 17, 2018 @ 4 pm
Parade will begin at Jarvis Street to finish with Santa photos and other activities!

WELLAND Santa Claus Parade

Saturday November 17, 2018 @ 4 pm

Welland’s annual Santa Claus Parade begins at 4pm at Canadian Tire Financial Services travelling west towards Civic Square. Along the route, Canada Post carriers will be collecting letters to Santa and the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council will be collecting donations for the Welland Open Arms Mission.

Back at Civic Square, the fun is just beginning with the lighting of Welland’s Christmas Tree. Here, kids can visit with Santa, while warming up with free hot chocolate and treats. After the parade, why not stay for a showing of Disney’s Prep & Landing on the big screen at Civic Square.

ST. CATHARINES Santa Claus Parade

Sunday November 18, 2018 @ 1 pm
Parade Route: Parade begins on McGuire Street behind the Meridian Centre, travels along McGuire Street, left on Carlisle Street, travels along Carlisle Street, left on St. Paul Street, travels down St. Paul Street to Queen Street, ends at Queen Street.
Meridian Centre – Post Party and Free Skate 2 pm – 4 pm – you don’t have to skate to enjoy the festivities

  • Visit with Santa – bring your own camera for photos with Santa from 2 pm – 4pm.
  • Kids Crafts
  • Face Painting
  • Pony Rides (outside)

SMITHVILLE Santa Claus Parade

Saturday, November 24, 2018 @ 2 pm
Route: The annual Smithville “Christmas in the Village” Parade starts at 2:00 p.m. leaving the Community Center (Arena) and proceeds along Regional Road 20 (old Highway #20), past Town hall to the intersection of Canborough Road and Regional Road 14.

THOROLD Santa Claus Parade

Saturday November 24, 2018 @ 4 pm
The annual Thorold Santa Claus Parade is a wonderfully early evening night-lit parade beginning at Monsignor Clancy School, traveling down Sullivan Avenue to Front Street, turning left and ending at Regent St.

GRIMSBY Santa Claus Parade

Saturday December 1, 2018 @ 5:15 pm
Parade will travel from Blessed Trinity to Ontario St. via Livingston Ave and Highway 8.

PORT COLBORNE Santa Claus Parade

Saturday December 1, 2018 @ 6:30 pm
Parade will begin at Port Colborne High School and finishes at Market Square on Charlotte St. Children are then welcome to visit with Santa at Guild Hall.

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE Santa Claus Parade

Saturday December 8, 2018 @ 11 am
Parade will begin at the corner of King and Centre Sts and travel to Castlereagh St, turn right on Castlereagh, then left on Wellington, left again on Byron, left on Simcoe and left again onto Queen St.

PELHAM Santa Claus Parade

Saturday December 8, 2018 @ 1 pm
Starting at Bethany Christian Reform Church (1086 Balfour St., Fenwick) heading North on Balfour Street to Canboro Road, West on Canboro Road to Church Street, North on Church Street to Centennial Park (999 Church St., Fenwick). Join us at Centennial Park after the parade until 4pm for post celebrations- including food and activities! All are welcome!
