Midwives in Niagara

A midwife is a primary caregiver, which means that she can provide all the care necessary for a healthy woman and her baby throughout pregnancy, birth and for six weeks afterward. You do not need a referral from a physician to use midwifery services; you can call a midwife directly. Child Car Seat Classes in Niagara

Before baby arrives you’ll want to make sure your baby’s car seat is installed correctly. Car seat clinics are available to teach parents and caregivers how to safely install and use their car seats.

La Leche League Canada

La Leche League Canada (LLLC) is a registered charity and part of a global organisation that provides mother-to-mother/parent-to-parent/peer support for pregnant women, new parents and beyond. Volunteer Leaders are accredited after a detailed training program and have access to current scientific and legal information to help support others. Support is provided in-person, by phone, online, and in informal group meetings led by volunteer Leaders by providing evidence-based information on breastfeeding and human milk. LLLC’s approach is that nobody knows your baby or family better than you and that everyone deserves the right circle of support in which to raise their children.  There is no cost to receive support from a Leader and all regular informal group meetings are free of charge.
