#Mpower Walk, Ride, Run for Maternal Mental Health

May 11, 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Pearson Park, 352 Niagara St., St. Catharines

Did you know that one in five moms experience Postpartum Depression (PPD) in Canada?  This affects over 76,000 Moms each year.  Yes, 76,000!!!  It can happen to any mom, so it’s important to educate and inform them, and let them know that they don’t have to suffer in silence or alone…that’s the mission at Life With A Baby! During this mental health week, as a community, let’s raise awareness and funds for Life With A Baby to continue to run more programs and events for Moms, for maternal mental health and to prevent PPD.

We’ll start with a walk at the wooded area of Pearson Park.
Get some fresh Spring air in the park while raising awareness for our community.
Everyone is welcome to join including strollers, toddlers & spouses…the more people, the more awareness we’ll raise! Please ask ALL your friends to join you in raising awareness for maternal mental health.
If you cannot join us at the event, please join our team, and participate in a virtual event – walking whenever works for your schedule.
If anyone would like to make a donation or join the LWAB Niagara team to help with fundraising ($20 or more will receive a tax receipt), please CLICK HERE
Please donate in honour of maternal mental health and to spread awareness for more to be done to prevent Postpartum depression. Help us keep all Life With A Baby programming innovative and free or as low cost as possible for all of the families with young children in need to grow a supportive and happy community!
